AKNO Group acquires a 20,000-square-meter office center south of Milan from Cromwell Property Group and Goldman Sachs.
The property, which is the result of the recently concluded negotiation, is located in Milano 3, a few minutes from the city center.
AKNO Group in recent weeks has finalized the acquisition of an office building in south of Milan, from Cromwell Property Group and Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
It is a 2000s property covering 20,000 square meters spread over six floors and located within a large business centre surrounded by a green area.
The town of Basiglio, where the office centre is, is strategically located close to the center of Milan. It is connected to the city by excellent transportation infrastructure. And more, there is a convenient shuttle dedicated to the centre’s tenants for a quick connection to the Famagosta, Abbiategrasso and San Donato underground stops.
AKNO Group has always paid close attention to high-end real estate, not only in Italy, but also abroad. Among the properties acquired internationally: the Chiattone Palaces in Lugano, which have been restored to their former glory after a major renovation; in the U.S. the acquisition of the historic Book Tower and Book Building in Detroit, as well as a 20-story executive building in St. Louis.
Alex Nuhi, Group Deputy Chairman of AKNO Group, commented: “The addition of this property to AKNO Group’s portfolio is another important step in our strategic path of acquisitions and investments in prime real estate. This acquisition allows us to expand our offer in executive real estate in a highly strategic geographic area, south of Milan.”
For the acquisition transaction, AKNO Group was assisted by attorney Carlo Amisano for the legal aspects and by Home 360 Agency for the technical operational aspects.
