After six months of work in record time, the new logistics park of over 130,000 sqm, built by AKNO Group after a design aimed at storing and conserving goods at controlled temperatures, officially opens its doors.
The AKNO Group, an operator specialised in developing real estate projects and logistics parks, has recently delivered the new Business Park built in the Livraga (LO) area.
The new logistics centre occupies 130,000 m2 of land. It features a warehouse of about 50,400 m2 designed and built to create a temperature-controlled “Pharma Logistics“. The air conditioning system makes it possible to maintain a constant temperature of between 16° and 25° throughout the building and guarantee the integrity of the products stored in order to meet the specific needs of the customer, a major international logistics operator.
Other infrastructures and services complete the Business Park, which is entirely fenced off, with a single main entrance and a 24-hour surveillance service that guarantees safe operations at all times.
Like all the logistics centres built by the AKNO Group, the new Business Park is located in a strategic area for those operating in the distribution sector, not far from the Casalpusterlengo A1 motorway exit.
AKNO Livraga Business Park was delivered to the tenant on a turnkey basis.
The Livraga business park is also equipped with state-of-the-art technical solutions in terms of energy saving. It has been designed with a particular focus on eco-sustainability at all stages, from construction to management of the building, and in line with the AKNO Group’s green philosophy characterised by continuous research into new energy solutions, including a channelled water supply and a photovoltaic system that makes the building self-sufficient, all to minimise its environmental impact.
Through its AKNO Business Park division, the company has brought a new concept of industrial area to Italy, creating modern and innovative logistics and production centres.
