“Can Italy be Europe’s logistic hub?”: this is the question that managers and field experts were asked yesterday at the Convention organized by LIUC Business School and Columbus Logistics.
Among the speakers were Alex Nuhi from AKNO Group, who with logistics managers from companies such as Ikea, 3M, Stella McCarthy, Luxottica and Schaeffler, shared his point of view on the positive moment that Italian logistics is living and on its future: “To create logistics you need adequate spaces in strategic territories, but in Italy there’s not that much availability, a situation that is worsened by the sector’s bad reputation. The current market does not have empty warehouses – concluded Alex Nuhi – We moving along the Milan-Rome and Novara-Venezia lines. The real problem is that for many communities logistics is still taboo”.
