On October 18th 2010, the “Città del Libro – Book City” in Stradella (Pavia), our latest creation entirely located at the international group Ceva Logistics. The 82,000 square meter building that is developed on a surface of 165,000 square meters, built in just 8 months since setting the first stone, is considered the “largest European logistics hub entirely dedicated to publishing”. The “Città del Libro – Book City” is project that is entirely environmentally sustainable, in fact it’s equipped with a solar panel system set on the building’s covering, capable of generating 3,780 Mwh, equivalent to the needs of 2,000 families and equal to an annual reduction of CO2 emissions of 1,630 tons. Besides this, the internal and external lighting system is made with energy saving light bulbs and a transparent material was used for the roof, to let natural light into the building increasing energy saving.
